'The Great Outdoors' Update!
Feb. 21st, 2008 | 07:31 pm
Hiya All,
Just a quick update before I shoot out the door. Going to try and see 'Definitely, Maybe' (again.) Hopefully, it won't be sold out this time because, as good as it was, I don't think I can sit through 'Cloverfield' for a third time.
This week has gone lovely and quick, thank you-please. So glad it's Friday tomorrow. I so need to go out and get my groove on, it's been ages! The music better be good or I'll be having words with the DJ. No joke!
Anyhoo, here's an update. This chapter's my particular favourite, the story takes a bit of a twist and things start to get juicy! Enjoy!

'The Great Outdoors' Update!
Feb. 18th, 2008 | 07:49 pm
Hey All!
I think I nearly got sent a virus via an IM on Messenger. I signed in and a message popped up (supposedly) from a friend asking if I recognised this picture. I went to download it and then (luckily) my Norton blocked it saying it was high risk. Anyway, so then I signed out of Messenger, signed back in and the same message popped up, I doubt my friend was actually online. Anyone know anything about this?
On a cheerier note, today's gone nice and quick and I got checked out by a decent-looking bloke in the supermarket, so all is good. Gonna post this, (if my computer doesn't die on me), hang up my laundry and then stick on a crap film of some sort. Not sure which one yet. I know....I'm a party girl!
Can't wait til Friday, us girls from the office are off out for drinkies and I'm soooo looking forward to it! I so need a night out, it's not even funny! Hopefully then, the week will fly by...
So...here's two chapters for your reading pleasure, to keep things nice and juicy!

'The Great Outdoors' Update!
Feb. 14th, 2008 | 06:38 pm
Happy Valentine's Day and all that. My friend sent me this in a text today and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd share:
Bouquet of roses: £40
Romantic dinner: £80
Hotel room afterwards: £200
The look on his face when you tell him you're on your period....PRICELESS!
Lol! Made me laugh, anyway. Well, for those of you who aren't going to be spending the evening exchanging sweet nothings with the other half, here's an update...

My Week: An Update...
Feb. 13th, 2008 | 10:07 pm
mood:
sick
Just finished watching 'Juno', (my friend from work managed to get hold of a high-quality pirate copy. Ta love, you saved me a tenner). I actually quite enjoyed it. I was a tiny bit skeptical at first because of the hype it's received and the fact that I tend to shy away from films that try to be 'quirky;' they usually fall flat for me. (Urgh, 'The Royal Tenenbaums' made me wanna kill myself.) But it was good - enjoyable. Though, I am yet to meet a sixteen year old who is that calm and collected about being knocked up, but I suppose that's what made it refreshing. If you haven't seen it already then you should. :~)
My cold has reached a whole new level. Rah-ted! I feel like the left side of my head wants to explode, but it was kind of amusing trying to eat/drink my soup and breathe at the same time. Hehe. My stuffy nose means I sound like a cross between a phone sex pest and Michael Myers in his fugly white mask. I know, I'm hot, you don't have to tell me.
Well, I think I'm gonna head over to HITZRUS for a bit and get my daily fix, then I'm gonna pop some Sudafed (sp?) and try and get to sleep without drowning myself in a sea of snot. Sorry if that painted too vivid a picture.
Tarrah for now.

'The Great Outdoors' Update!
Feb. 7th, 2008 | 10:18 pm
Why hello,
Just got back from seeing 'Penelope'. Aw, it was sweet. Not absolutely AMAZING, but entertaining. Not sure whether I'll buy it yet. There's something very endearing about James McAvoy. He's not drop dead gorgeous but has beautiful eyes and a bit of a boy next door look about him. I know it sounds a bit cruel, but Christina Ricci didn't look that different with the prosthetic nose. She has that kind of look anyway. I fell in love with her wardrobe; wouldn't mind raiding the costume department for that film.
Anyhoo, here's another chapter. Enjoy!

And it's Midweek Already...
Feb. 6th, 2008 | 11:32 pm
Just got back from seeing 'Cloverfield' with a girl from work. What a pleasant surprise. I thought it was gonna be some stereotypical Hollywood shite, y'know: New York's under attack, again; some brave American plays the hero and sacrfices his life saving the world, double snore. But it was actually rather good; highly understated and very entertaining. I was so engrossed, I spent most of the film with my mouth hanging open. So if you haven't seen it already then DO IT!
Should be going to see 'Penelope' tomorrow. I've been looking forward to that film for months and months, so I bet, sod's law, it's gonna be a big crappy let down. We shall see...
In hindsight, the week's gone rather quick. I've booked my driving test for the 6th May, which
Hey ho! Tis all from me.

Hey Y'all,
Thank God Monday's nearly over. Today was dry! I can't believe it, the one day I bring my juicy book into work is the day that we actually have stuff to do. It's sod's law, I tell you. I've been invited round my boss's house to watch the new series of 'America's Next Top Model' and I wasn't sure at first because I thought it might be bit weird, but she's cool and I have nothing else to do.
Anyway, here's another two chapters for your reading pleasure.

My Saturday...

Hey All,
Went to see 'Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour' at Wembley yesterday and it was amazing! We had the best seats ever. We were 2nd row on the left side which was great because that seemed to be where most of the dancers ended up. It wasfab seeing all the professional dancers from the show. Aw, I love little Lilia, she's like a Russian Doll - so cute, I wanted to take her home. The costumes and everything were amazing. So were the singers, which is surprising because the ones on the show have slaughtered many a good song with their whining. *Shudder.*
It's just emphasized the fact that I want to be a celebrity just so I can go on that show. I'd gladly be in 'EastEnders' for 2 weeks, just so I can apply. I'd want to be paired with Darren or Matthew, as they both seem like they'd have the most patience.
After that I met up with a few of my girlies and we out in Camden. We were supposed to go on to the 'Electric Ballroom' and I was all dressed up and ready to go but the queue was horrendous and it was freezing, so we decided to pop into a bar and then head home. We ended up watching 'I Still Know Waht You Did Last Summer', which is a terrible sequel but mindlessly entertainling, nonetheless.
I'm gonna spend today doing as little as possible, just hanging out online, watching telly in my jim jams. I'm gonna have a go at that Habits Meme that I've been tagged in now...
Hope you're having a good weekend.
Luv Chan x

Hey All,
Good Lord, it's been a long old week! Can someone please explain to me why it's not Friday already? Ever since I started this food-Nazi regime, (sorry, I mean the 'Cambridge Diet'), time has been going backwards. I want to fast forward to summer when the weather's nice and I'm slim and gorgeous and miraculously have enough cash to splash out on summer dresses from Karen Millen and Coast!
Hey ho, one can dream...

Hiya,
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who left me those messages yesterday. It was very kind of you and certainly cheered me up when I got into work and checked my email. I was rather touched. I'm heading round to mum's in a bit to keep her company, can't have her staying in the house on her own. It's times like this I wish she had a fella but, never mind, eh?
On a happier note, I passed my theory test and my new iPod nano arrived today, (though, now I'm paranoid it's going to get nicked!) I got it in red and have had the Breaktown lyrics: 'Are you ready to find the spark inside and let it burn?' engraved on the back. I was quite impressed to find that a percentage of the cost will go towards a HIV charity. (Hanson would be proud!)
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and give you an update. Gonna get on with posting my chapter now and then head to mum's.
Luv Channie x
